History of Chestermere Christian Fellowship

1992 – The church begins as a small group of believers from Chestermere and the surrounding area, who meet regularly at Camp Chestermere in the main lodge building.  The group is founded by Andy and Charlotte James.
1994 – The group of believers officially adopt the name “Chestermere Christian Fellowship” with Andy James as Pastor
2000 – Chestermere Christian Fellowship joins the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada EMCC
2002 – The property on Conrich Road is purchased by Chestermere Christian Fellowship and the church moves into the new church building on July 21, 2002.
2006 – Andy James resigns as Pastor
2007-2021  – Darcy and Nola Neufeld join Chestermere Christian Fellowship and Darcy Neufeld serves as Pastor from 2007-2021, and retires in 2021
2022-2025 – Vince Vanderveen serves as Pastor from 2022 to 2025
2025-present – Chestermere Christian Fellowship searches for a Pastor….
